Drivers in East Ann Arbor

I thought the drivers in my neighborhood were bad. Eastern Ann Arbor drivers get the jerk off of the week award.

A couple days ago I was on Earhart going north. When it gets into a suburban area it widens to two lanes with a meridian strip in the middle. This area is posted as 35 mph, but everyone in the early morning does 45 through there. I'm in the left lane, my left turn less than a 1/4 mile ahead. I had someone pass me on the right then cut right in front of me, necessitating slamming on my brakes.

Today I had someone on my bumper on a one lane urban street. They passed me and the guy who was going 35 in a 30 mph zone in the left turn lane, as the guy in front of me is slowly moving into the turn lane. I really wanted to follow that asshole and tell them off. Stupid drivers deserve to lose their licenses.

Taking things for granted

Its easy to take things like physical health for granted until something serious comes up. I've been scheduling folks for radiology appointments who are in some cases younger than my wife with very serious conditions. It makes me thankful for my continued good health and S's as well.

I'd much rather be poor and healthy than wealthy and have chronic/life threatening problems.
