I keep getting a whiff of the strangest smells.  I was smelling something foul in our study last night, when there was nothing wrong in there yesterday.

Now I'm smelling bacon.   Hmm, my co-worker says she understands why I might think that, smells a bit like that to her too, though she's not sure where the smell is coming from.    My nose is on super sensitive, where's the controls for this thing?

When all my allergy medication is working right, sometimes I smell more than I want to.

You could try picking up a mint chapstick, which might help overrule the other scents without the obnoxiousness of cologne. Altoids could help too, but my first thought is minty chapstick, since sucking on Altoids all the time is going to bathe your teeth in sugar.

That's it, exactly. Since I've spent that majority of my life with under-controlled allergies, when I can smell it seems like I can smell everything. And there's lots of stuff out there that's just not that pleasant.

Check your monitor. I once smelled bacon in a computer lab and it turned out one of the Mac Plus monitors was smoking.

Both flat-screens in this room, both seem to be working fine right now. I suspect it was a lingering odor from someone's lunch.
