Demon lord or remote astromical body?

Thanks to a post by the wonderful novapsyche I found out about Orcus.

Orcus was a demon you didn't dare mention in the original Advanced D & D world.  He might just appear, or send a minion to make short work of anyone foolish enough to allow his name to roll off their tongue.
